The North and East building communities are fully occupied, with occupancy starting in March 2026.

Construction work on Nestbau Mitte has begun.

Currently occupant is 78%. Occupancy begins in summer 2027.

House 10 – Walls in the basement (UG) are being erected. (05.03.26)

House 6 – Installation work for plumbing and ventilation in the basement. (20.2.26)

House 6 – ETICS Insulation Work North Side (20.02.26)

House 7 – Drywall panels 1-sided in each apartment will be completed. (20.02.26)

House 7 – Insulation work in the basement/underground garage – Heating/sanitary pipes in the basement at House 7 have been mostly completed. (20.02.26)
Construction status:

House 5 

  • Wallpapering work in the apartments has been completed, now painting still needs to be done.
  • All tiles have been delivered to the construction site, tiling is in progress.
  • The electrician is wiring the sub-distributions in the apartments on the 5th and 4th floors. It is finished.
  • The parquet installer starts on Wednesday on the 5th floor.
  • Reinforcement for the facade has been applied, now the top plaster is being applied.
  • Acceptance of the elevator system on 03/04/26.

House 6

  • Dry construction is closed from the ground floor to the 2nd floor.
  • The painter has filled the ceiling joints.
  • Subfloor screed laid from the ground floor to the 1st floor.
  • Screed installation from the ground floor to the 2nd floor planned for week 10.
  • Installation work in the basement is running in parallel.
  • Insulation work for the EIFS is ongoing.
  • Acceptance of elevator systems together with House 5.

 

The following trades have been awarded:

  • Formwork, earthworks, shell construction, reinforced concrete, scaffolding, windows, electrical, ventilation, sun protection, apartment doors, lightning protection, drywall construction, waterproofing, steel doors, heating and sanitary, locksmith, carpentry work on balconies, green roof, rolling gate, concrete drilling and sawing, parquet work, tiling, natural stone work, Interior doors, painting work, basement partitions, sheet metal work, ETICS, construction cleaning, Mailboxes, locking system

 

Further procedure on the construction site House 5 and House 6:

  • House 5 Completion of ETICS.
  • House 5 Preparation for sheet metal works, install downpipes, etc.
  • House 5 Apply floor coating in basement areas UG 1+2.
  • House 5 Install basement partition walls.
  • House 6 ETICS reinforcement.
  • House 6 Substructure for screed and underfloor heating from 3rd floor – 5th floor.
  • House 6 Apply screed from 3rd floor – 5th floor.

 

House 7 

  • Sanitary installs the risers in the apartments; in the basement, the pipes have mostly been completed.
  • The sealing work on the balconies has been completed.
  • Vapor barrier on the roof has been applied, and preparations for the roof insulation work are underway, such as installing roof outlets, parapet coverings, etc.
  • Interior plastering work has been completed.
  • Drywall work is underway; the walls are being dry-lined on one side, rails in the bathrooms/shafts are being installed so that the sanitary system can mount the frames.
  • The electrician will start the rough installation in the next 1-2 weeks.

House 8

  • Elevator has been installed
  • The vapor barrier on the roof has been applied
  • Interior plastering work has started
  • Preparations for the drywalling afterward are underway

  • Earthworks, Shell construction, Wu concrete, Ventilation, Scaffolding, Ventilation work, WE doors, Lightning protection, Electrical, Windows, Heating/plumbing, roof waterproofing, basement partition walls, sun protection, interior plaster (circular resolution), drywall (circular resolution), Green roof, screed work, parquet, locksmith work, interior doors, tiling work, construction cleaning

 

Further procedure on the construction site House 7 and House 8:

  • House 7 drywall work 1-sided paneling completion
  • House 7 start bathroom rough installation
  • House 8 start interior plastering work
  • House 7 and 8 lightning protection installation
  • Insulation work basement House 8
  • House 7 and 8 metalwork installation of base plates for fall protection
  • House 7+8 roof insulation work and completion of roof sealing

 

  • House 4, House 9 and House 10
  • The work area on the street side of House 4 has been backfilled.
  • The first scaffolding at House 4 has been erected.
  • The sewer connection/wastewater drainage has been completed.
  • The floor slabs have been concreted.
  • At House 4, the walls on the ground floor have been erected and the ceiling above the ground floor has been laid.
  • The first installation work for electrical and ventilation has been carried out.
  • The underground parking ceiling between House 4 and 9 has been shuttered and is being reinforced.
  • In the meantime, we have 3 cranes for the shell construction work.
  • The construction site has been under video surveillance since mid-December.

  • Explosive ordnance survey, earthworks, shell construction, shoring, electrical, lightning protection, ventilation, steel doors, residential unit doors, scaffolding, windows

 

Further procedure on the construction site House 4, House 9 and House 10:

  • Concrete the ceiling of the ground floor of House 4 and complete the basements of Houses 9 and 10
  • Complete the exterior walls of the underground
  • Concrete the underground garage ceiling including all inlay work
  • Backfill workspaces

We have received KfW funding, climate-friendly new construction with QNG (loan 298) for all apartments.

For apartments in houses 4, 9 + 10 you can submit individual applications for a KfW loan in programs 297, 298 or 300 (for families with children under 18 years of age).

This funding program can be accessed for all apartments via the Sparkasse Freiburg-Nördlicher Breisgau.

For houses 4, 9 and 10, you can submit individual applications for KfW loans with updated conditions via the Sparkasse Freiburg as a “pass-on bank”.

All residential buildings in the district are built according to the ‘Sustainable Building Plus Quality Seal’ (QNG seal), to energy standard Efficiency Building Level 40.
This means you have the opportunity to take advantage of the extremely low-interest KfW loan for climate-friendly new constructions to finance your portion of the project.

The application for the development loan is handled by the Sparkasse Freiburg Nördlicher Breisgau.

If you have already attended an information event and are interested in learning more, you will have the chance to meet with the project management or architects of the individual buildings for personalized guidance and advice starting at 5 pm, before the event.
